Phil Steele's Daddy Gives His SEC Picks

Wow, Kige. Don't ever let anyone tell you those dramatic, mind-numbing pauses aren't killer! And just for the record, I believe Alabama likes to be called "the Crimson Tide"...there was no need for a dramatic pause right there, but you pulled it off beautifully.

Damn you, Kige! Just when I thought everything was going The Rebels' way (Phil Steele's pick, the SI cover, Massie and Tig are in, ) you throw the old wet blanket Ole Miss' season. Talk about locker room material.

The Kige Party: Masters Edition

"A Tradition Like Any Other"

Kige has really come into his own lately. He's like a young Dave Rowe paired with the wit and timing of a seasoned Harry Caray. Enjoy...

The Kige Party

Kige Kringle sets us all straight on the BCS with earth-shattering analysis as well as totally not regurgitated thoughts and views on the controversial "Big South Conference" championship game. Keep on rockin' in the free world, Kige...

Kige is Scary as Hell

After purchasing that revamped seasonal set and that "costume" on his head, I'm surprised Kige's folks can keep the lights on. I also love how you can see the wheels turning as he becomes "Scary Kige." Well played, Ramsey.

The Kige Party

I think it's pretty obvious that I haven't been "on the blogging ball" lately, and for that I apologize. Some developments in the non-online world are keeping me away for the moment (should have some preseason-esque content arriving soon).

I feel as if I've hit a blogging wall...who can I relate to in times such as these?

In this quagmire I find myself, I take a deep breath and turn to Kige Ramsey. He's like Dave Ramsey, but useful. Here's one of Kige's recent late night, Olympic updates where he teaches us viewers how to push through the tough spots... How to rebound with grace and dignity firmly intact. Nothing fazes this guy.

I think of Kige as "a Scotch man"

Better Call Your Bookie

Kige's Gone Public with His SEC Prognostications

Listen, I hate to go to the "Ramsey well" too often (if that's even possible) but this youtubes is hot off the press and it will not be ignored.

Kige is in mid-season form with tons of mini-helmets, suspenseful pauses and cheeky shenanigans! As one early commenter stated, "From 1:35 to 2:00 is the greatest 25 seconds in the history of the Kige Ramsey Show...." No Doubt.

Like I've said from day one, the sooner JP/LF/Raycom Sports gives Kige a permanent, on-air weekly gig...the better. He's the Dave Rowe of our generation.

Kige is "Hands On" with his "Self Check-Out"

I think I'm really starting to get Kige on a much deeper level. This youtube is clearly not just about mega-corporate retail shopping. No, no. Read between the lines, people. Open your damn eyes and Behold... The enlightening brilliance of Ramsey...

enter and exit through lawn and garden?

Finally...Clay Travis does The Kige Ramsey Show

...back from 5 days in sweaty, trafficy Norfolk, Virginia - Sorry I don't have minions to cover my ass like "the big boys"...

Kige Ramsey, The King of All Youtubes, sits down with noted author/writer/lawyer Clay Travis for a candid, card-table-side talk in his mother's living room. Comedy of an unintentional and uncomfortable nature ensues...

Fun With LARPers

If you're not hip to the LARPing scene (Live Action Role Playing, of course) then you really need to bone up and get with it. This fella makes Kige Ramsey look like Tyler Durden...

The Kige Party

Finally...Cooking with Kige. Iron Chef Ramsey takes on a fascinating secret ingredient...Pepperoni! (who knew?) Well, lets just say Kige attacks this cooking segment with the same passion and in-depth analysis as he does Youtube Sports. Welcome to the intricate world of Pizza Rolls...

Next week, I hope Kige kicks it up another notch and explains hot dogs.

The Kige Party

Kige's a straight shooter...especially when it comes to the ladies. With matters of the heart, Ramsey doesn't mince words or hold anything back. These days, "The Sly Fox" may not have too much time for a "personal life" with the success of his Youtube Sports Enterprises, but he's always quick to share his expertise with his desperate fanbase. Hence, Kige's "Youtube Relationships"...

The Kige Party

Well, it looks like Kige has finally hopped on the Hilltopper's bandwagon. Yeah, I know Kige supposedly goes to Western Kentucky, but his "set" has always been decorated in the big blue of The flagship Wildcats. Now, it looks like Kige's cleaned out the WKU book store with all kinds of attractive and classy memorabilia. (Momma's gonna wear his hide slap out when she finds that money missin' fromunda the mattress)

My favorite part of this installment includes Kige's visually aided history lesson about Western's totally awesome towel mascot. (complete with simulated crying):

How can you not root for Kige's new team, the 12 seed Hilltoppers over UCLA? Your bracket's already FUBAR...I say, Go Fighting Towels.

Don Juan DeRamsey weighs in on "Valentime's Day" gift ideas

Just cause I haven't featured everybody's favorite opinion maker in a few months (Contacts, Kige?)...

Outstanding and innovative opinions as always, Kige. Where does he get all these outlandish ideas?!? I for one know my significant other or wife would certainly be pleased with "a diamond ring or something." Unfortunately for all involved, we here at DeepSouthSports obviously do not allocate similar budgetary importance to "Valetime's Day" as our brethren at The Kige Ramsey Show.

Good luck tomorrow guys. And remember, don't try and be a hero or knock one out of the park...That can only lead to pain.

Kige takes a Stand Against Christmas Foofery and Shenanigans

A little dated, but Kige on location in Wal-mart just feels so right

"Hey, the Kige Ramsey sign was mine, here are a couple of pics of it.
You should also know that Kige Ramsey himself changed his own actual facebook profile pic to a shot of my sign on camera behind Lee Corso's head."
-Sam

Major Credit, Sam. You are a winner, no matter what the scoreboard indicated. And Thanks for the heads up. Remember, raising Kige Ramsey awareness is a God given responsibility that all of us share.

Great Pictures like this will always get posted (also love the "Joiner stole my sign") Don't hesitate to send us some quality stuff. You know what I'm all about. Do it.

SEC Power Poll - Week 8

Click here for more on the Power Poll from Garnet and Black Attack

Erik's Ballot:

1. LSU - Les Miles is 2 for 3 in the idiot savant coaching department. "So dumb it's brilliant" play calls have become Miles' M.O. this season, and he will either live by it (Florida, Auburn) or die by it (Kentucky). I just hope he doesn't take the still title-contending Tigers down with him.

2. Florida - Kept the SEC East pillow fight interesting. UF is still the best team in the east, as the Gates haven't lost to a divisional foe since November 2005.

3. Auburn - Heartbreaking loss, but it proved what many were starting to realize. Auburn is still top tier.

4. Arkansas - Looked like the Hawgs of better times. 2006. Before all hell broke loose. Could Houston save his job yet?

5. Kentucky - I told a friend in The Grove who doubted Kentucky's offense that Ole Miss and Seth Adams threw for 300 against Florida and Woodson will throw for 400. Well, he threw for 415 and 5 TDs, but he still lost because he can't play both sides of the ball, and there's this small matter of Tim M. Effin' Tebow.

6. Alabama - Sarah Jessica Parker Wilson is the man again, and the Tide upset the turdulent Vols. Is this Saban's "signature win?" (what a homo bama term)

7. Vanderbilt - Has to be the biggest Commodore win since Prohibition. I can't imagine what it must feel like...maybe like a 40-year-old virgin finally taking one to the house? Sorry, Spurrier.

8. South Carolina - My, how the pseudo-mighty have fallen. Did anyone really believe The Cocks deserved #6 anyway? Too many questions. Perfect example of the insanity that is the 2007 season.

9. Tennessee - Jekyll and Hyde. What the hell happened in the second half? Nice job giving the Tiders something to crow about.

10. Georgia - This team deserves to be in the top 25 about as much as I deserve a Pulitzer.

11. Mississippi State - They've been suckin' balls for most of the season, but hey...They beat Auburn. Apparently, if Sly Croom can beat one legit program every year...and remain black, he'll be the head coach at State for many years to come.

12. Ole Miss - Colonel Reb isn't crying anymore. He and Capitan Morgan are back in The Grove "scopin' tail" and attempting to drink away the Ed Orgeron era.

Kige Ramsey Basks In Kentucky Victory

Good to know that Kige and I are on the same page. The Kentucky Wildcats are the real deal Holyfield. Kige even goes out on a limb to suggest, "They will go to a bowl game this year."

Yeah, no sh*t, Kige. UK is 4-0.

Not so sure about "a good defense" though, Ramsey. The Cats are 73rd nationally in Total Defense. They're just going to have to keep outscoring folks.

"The Slyfox" Goes 12 for 12 On Sunday

He may not be picking against the spread or anything like that, even so, what an amazing way to start the season. Apparently The Kige is like "Rain Man" in more ways than one...

What's more important, is that I've finally found a good link to Kige's radio interview he did recently for Houston's 1560 The Game. Here Kige talks about "The Studio," his love life and what's in that damn notebook.

Kige's Take on Tonight's NFL Opener of Saints v. Colts

Here Kige, in his typical smooth operator fashion, reveals some of his patented in-depth analysis on life, love and The NFL.

Clearly, Kige heard Me-ma calling him to dinner, as he signed off in mid-thought. Don't worry, Kige. We'll hold our breath.

Programming Note: Kige's Medical Wednesday's "will start next week." Such a tease!

Who's On Team Kige?

No tailgate is complete with out it

Thanks to astute reader Josh for this here find. It's the unofficial "Value" Kige Ramsey Tee Shirt ($11.99!!!) from No Worries Brah. What better way to show your support for a true interwebs superstar in the making? Get yours now so you can say you loved Kige way back in the youtube days... before he got that 3 year contract with The World Wide Leader, a raging coke habit and fathered Lindsey Lohan's bastard child.
