PWNED!

All-star reader and contributor, Darren hooked us up with another sparkling, Bama-related Gem. ("hot damn! more Tider content?")

Word on the street is the below billboard was erected by a bunch of studly University of Louisiana-Monroe Alumni. The fact that these boys (with the help of Hixson Ford, of course) ponied up 12 grand to stick it to Alabama is credit enough...

TideRolled

...but Major Credit for making every single die-hard Tider drive beneath this billboard on the way to their "bowl game"...

  1. even in the shittiest era in the history of alabama football ('97 to present), the tide is 9-2 against ole miss. lose to ulm and still beat ole miss like clockwork.

now why don't you just come out of the closet and sport your crimson gear proudly??

  2. Finally got Dorsey to pull out the ole, record book.

    Touche', gerry.

Bama may be squeakin' by Ole Miss as of late (3 point wins the last three seasons), Even so...The Rebs always beat The Sunbelt.

  5. brady, I copied it straight out of an email, to which I gave the sender credit. You need to holla at a few of us down in Alabama when you get a hold of something like this.

  6. With pleasure! I didn't really think y'all stole that. Great minds, etc.

  7. As a realistic Tider I have to say that this even gets my blood boiling...I'm glad I am not making the drive to Shreveport. What a dump?! Much like the state of LA and it's citizens.

  8. Saban Help us!

If Coach Nick Saban (CNS) were here, he'd say...

"Going to a bowl in Shreveport is pretty much the same thing as...well, those Jews in the Bible wandering in the desert for 40 years. Eventually those bastards made their way to 'The Promise Land' or in our case, 'The Sugar Bowl.' Moses did things the right way...with character and hard word, just like I am doing. It's all the same."

  9. Please refrain from Foul vocabulary in your remarks. I know you have a limited vocabulary but try and leave out the cussing. God wouldn't be proud of you at all. Have a Merry CHRISTmas and Hppy New Year. Roll Tide Roll and beat those buffs.

  11. this sign is not on the interstate. Its on highway 150. No Alabama fans will see it on their way to the bowl game. Keep trying, though

  12. could you be a little more specific, oh wise mackenzie? Strangely enough, I'm not seeing a Highway 150 anywhere near Monroe, Louisiana...odd.

Sidenote: I was told by the dealership that there are multiple signs.

  13. The sign was on HWY 165, but was moved or there is another one on I-20 right before you cross the Ouachita River Bridge into West Monroe. It is right across from the Monroe Civic Center. Trust me, no Bama fan will miss this sign.

    GO WARHAWKS!!!

  14. I can honestly say I've never seen one person so obsessed with another school.

Ole Miss may always beat the Sun Belt but didn't they get swept by Wyoming 2 straight years? Go 0-for-SEC this season? Not even won double digits in games against Alabama? Add all that up and I guess it makes sense why you are so angry towards the Tide.

But hey, Houston Nutt the rescue!!!

  15. Hey Eric,
Looks like being linked on EDSBS has gotten you some new traffic. Way to go! And if only you could get some pictures of some of these guys you'd have a few new Bama Fans of Week.

  16. Not much to celebrate in the state of Lousy-ana? Not even beating Bama 4 or 5 years straight? I'd be more specific between 4 or 5, but it's been so many that I've lost count.
