National Blogpoll

Week 3

You all have Brian at mgoblog (Michigan) to thank for this blessed poll. Click here to learn more.

My Thoughts:

- There are many reason why I love the blogpoll, and the lack of a business agenda has to be on the top of that list. Is there any reason why ND should be in the National Championship game if it was played today? The AP seems to think so. They rank ND #2. The Blogpoll slots the Irish at a somewhat respectable #4 while I would put them even lower (in the 6-10 range)

- Who ever thought we'd see the day when we go into a Louisville vs Miami matchup being played at Papa John's Stadium, where The 'Ville is favored and 8 spots ahead of The Canes in the polls

- The Top 10 teams shakes out with 4 SEC, 2 Big 10, 1 Pac-10, 1 Big East, 1 Big XII, 1 Indy and Zero ACC. Is there really any doubt which conference is the strongest? Suck on that, Heisman Pundit.

- For the most part, I think it's a excellent poll. We're getting into the meat of the season, and now we're starting to shead light on the pretenders (ND, California) and Contenders (Ohio St., LSU).
